ttc and also trying to quite smoking with champix?

so my husband and i have decided we would like to have a baby, but i have been smoking for 6 years and want to quite first. I have just started taking champix, it is supposed to work really well, i just wanted to know if anyone has successfully quite after 2 weeks to 4 weeks after taking the medication. should i put the BD on hold for a while??? i dont know what to do?
