Use of Electronic Cigarette Show 43% Success Rate as Smoking Alternative

Recently, a ground-breaking study of the electronic cigarette’s effectiveness as a smoking alternative was performed. This is the first official study about electronic cigarettes that was carried out, controlled and analyzed by the government. The study consisted of 349 avid smokers and was conducted in South Africa. The study was concluded after a two month period, and showed encouraging results. 43% of the respondents successfully stopped smoking after switching to electronic cigarettes.

Doctors who analyzed the study confirmed that electronic cigarettes are notably healthier and better alternative to smoking traditional tobacco cigarettes. Over 50% of the respondents showed increase in energy levels and a better physical appearance. Also, the study showed that 6% of the respondents quit smoking tobacco cigarettes within two weeks plus a significant increase of 45% over the next six weeks.

The medical community gave tremendous support to the study. A doctor confirmed that the use of electronic cigarette is the best and most effective method for smoking cessation currently available in the market. On top of that, the doctors are already recommending electronic cigarettes to their patients who want to quit smoking. One premium brand of electronic cigarettes is the NJOY cigarette.

Another doctor was able to quit smoking within 6 weeks with the help of electronic cigarettes. He validated that an average of 12 puffs from an electronic cigarette release the same quantity of nicotine from a traditional tobacco cigarette. It is a fact that nicotine, present in both conventional cigarettes and electronic cigarettes, is not responsible for the health issues involved in smoking. It is the combustion in the process of producing smoke from using tobacco-based cigarettes.

A separate study was conducted few years back by Health Canada regarding the safety of electronic cigarettes. The results show that electronic cigarettes are safe not only with respect to cigarettes but are safe in all measurements.

Electronic cigarettes are driven by a micro electric technology. The device uses an atomizer to vaporize a membrane containing nicotine, propylene glycol, and water. Rechargeable lithium ion batteries give power to the electronic cigarettes. Replaceable cartridges come in a variety of flavors and different nicotine content levels, too. No combustion occurs in the use of this revolutionary device. NJOY electronic cigarettes do not emit second-hand smoke and are tobacco-free.
