why do people think smoking is an addiction?
yea, most people are addicted, and i get cranky without my mid day smoke break, but i can honestly go for weeks without. And why is everyone so dead set on getting us to quit? it'll be beer next, and then what'll people do after work but get fatter?
yea i get it causes cancer and im willing to live with that should it come along but cars do more damage than second hand smoke. And mildly addicted? I smoke because i want to, but i prbly couldn't quite if i *tried* i just stop when the fam comes in.
and umm juan.... women smoked just as much as men, thats where ciggerettes came from, women got sick of loading pipes...so yea what else are you talking about?
I have several members in my family who have cancer, my grandmother had it 4 times before she died, and i didnt want to know about how im addicted or not, I want to know why every non-smoker or ex-smoker feels the need to tell me all the hazzards and thier personal stories. Yes its my choice to smoke, I understand if you don't want me to smoke around you, but do you need to pull the addiction is bad for you card? And smoking has benefits like mood enhancing, weight control and that damn good taste. So if your answering thanx for your opinion but i could do without the same lecture 20 times. And thanx fellow smokers for getting what im talking about, not you that *want to quite*
